Catering
A growing mind and body require energy to function at their highest potential. Therefore, all Wellington pupils are required to eat school lunches. Our menus are designed for optimal nutrition and healthy caloric intake. We strive to appeal to a wide variety of tastes and preferences with daily Chinese, Western and vegetarian options. Pupil safety is priority number one at Wellington. Ingredients that may trigger food intolerances are posted prominently on our menus. Out of consideration for the health and safety of all pupils, Wellington also strives to maintain a nut-free environment.

Healthcare Centre
To ensure the safety and wellbeing of all our pupils and staff members, Wellington College has a thoroughly equipped healthcare centre operated by fully qualified nursing professionals. Our nursing team are on hand full-time to administer first aid and, when needed, any authorized prescription medications your child may require. We also depend on our nurses to promote and maintain help us promote and maintain a safe, healthy learning environment.

School Buses
For the convenience of our pupils and parents, we provide a daily school bus service operating more than 60 pickup points throughout Tianjin. Each bus is staffed with a locally employed bus monitor, who manages the children's behaviour and is responsible for their safety and wellbeing during the journey.

Uniform
Wellington College Bilingual Tianjin A Level Centre has a mandatory uniform policy. Our school uniform is an expression of the Wellington identity. It promotes a sense of pride in our school and fosters solidarity among our pupils. Pupils are expected to present themselves in a neat, clean, understated and professional manner always.

V&A

Modelled closely on the similarly named facility at Wellington UK, the V&A café is named after Queen Victoria and Prince Albert, who were the driving force behind the founding of Wellington UK in the 1850s.

 

Run in partnership with our catering company, it is a unique and high-quality venue, providing a comfortable and stylish place to relax for pupils (Seniors only during the school day), parents, staff and visitors. Hot and cold beverages and delicious pastries and snacks are available at low prices.

 

Parents are warmly invited to come and relax in the V&A café after dropping children off, or prior to picking them up. Our regular coffee mornings for parents will be held here.

 

The V&A café is open from 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday, and at other times if special events require it.
