Wellington College Bilingual Tianjin Nursery 1st Anniversary

[embed]https://wellington-china.wistia.com/medias/bkc6m6n2k0[/embed] Our first anniversary was how we envisioned it would be, an event that showcased what we have so worked hard to achieve and it's all about the children. From the welcome greetings by our youngest pupils and the beautiful renditions of beloved nursery rhymes in English and Chinese, the children were truly the stars of the show! The Master, Mr. Julian Jeffrey, gave an inspiring message on our rapid progress and stated that it is 'driven by our profound belief in the educational benefits of a bilingual programme for young children'. He highlighted the coming together of the whole Wellington Community of staff, parents and pupils in our journey to being the premier bilingual educator in Tianjin. To help us commemorate this event, our esteemed guests led by Helen Kavanagh, the CEO of Wellington College China and our senior leadership team at Wellington College in Tianjin, participated in a cake cutting ceremony. May this be the beginning of many more celebrations and success to come. What a joyous event indeed!
