How much do we own anything? The Caucasian Chalk Circle is at once a reworking of Li Qianfu and a challenge to its central theme. Here, Brecht's version is adapted and developed both by Bertolt Brecht himself, master of the Epic Theatre, and our own Wellington College pupils. Building on their workshop skills from Two last year, pupils return to take a bite of one of the greatest plays, by one of the greatest theatre practitioners of the 20th century.
