Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration

09 Oct 2017
[wellington_wistia]25akh1zo2l[/wellington_wistia] We have just completed a week of celebrations for Mid-Autumn Festival here in Tianjin. One of these was our “Sunrise”, our Chinese drama, performed by our pupils. They had been rehearsing hard for the past three weeks, and this has been the second year that we performed some classic Chinese drama on our stage. In addition, parents and pupils had opportunities to come in and sample Chinese food across the week, particularly mooncakes, but also to try on traditional Chinese costumes and engage in activities and games. There were also events for parents and children from across our school. These included food festivals, traditional Chinese costumes, a master class in Tai Chi,and other events and games which drew together our community in the celebration of Mid-Autumn. I would like to wish all of our Wellington Families a very happy Mid-Autumn Festival. Julian Jeffrey Master
