Forging a Young Learners' Alliance

11 Jul 2025

Wellington College Bilingual Tianjin Nursery and Cathay Future Teda City Kindergarten have come together to create a "Young Learners' Alliance" – a heartwarming initiative to brighten children's educational journeys. This thoughtful partnership unites two outstanding early years institutions, marking an exciting new chapter in nurturing young learners.

The co-Heads of Early Years, Lisa Li and Melissa Meyers paid a visit to Cathay Future Kindergarten, where they received a gracious welcome from the Cathay Future Education Group leadership. The two schools celebrated this special occasion with an intimate plaque-hanging ceremony, full of genuine warmth and shared purpose.

This collaboration will blossom into meaningful opportunities: pupils and staff from both settings will regularly come together through engaging joint activities. We look forward to sharing best practices in early years education, where Eastern and Western teaching approaches can complement one another beautifully. Children will flourish in this vibrant, cross-cultural environment, whilst our educators grow through professional dialogue.
