Parents & Buddies: Sharing the Love of Reading
We were thrilled to welcome parents into our classrooms to read enchanting stories to our little bookworms. The children’s faces lit up as they listened to tales in different languages—a true celebration of bilingualism!

Our Junior School buddies also joined in the fun, pairing up with younger pupils for Buddy Reading. It was heartwarming to see older pupils guiding their younger friends, sharing their favourite books, and fostering a love of reading together.

World Book Day Parade: Dress-Up Fun!
On April 23rd (World Book Day), our school transformed into a storybook wonderland! Children paraded around dressed as their favourite book characters—from brave superheroes to whimsical fairy-tale creatures. The creativity was truly inspiring!

Picnic Reading & Sandwich Time in the Magic Garden
What’s better than reading a book? Reading outdoors with friends! Pupils enjoyed a cosy picnic reading session in our Magic Garden, munching on delicious sandwiches while diving into their favourite stories. The sunshine, fresh air, and shared laughter made it a perfect literary escape.

Special Guest: Lulu Rabbit Author Visit!
The excitement continued with a special visit from the beloved author of Lulu Rabbit! The children were captivated as they listened to stories, asked questions, and even got their books signed. It was a dream come true for our young readers!

Learn to Read, Read to Learn
This week reminded us that reading is not just about words, it’s about imagination, discovery, and connection. Whether through storytelling, buddy reading, or dressing up as characters, our pupils experienced the magic of books in so many ways.

Thank you to all the parents, teachers, and pupils who made this week so special. Let’s keep the love of reading alive—one page at a time!
