Into the Classroom | Dental Visit for Nursery
Recently, the Nursery children went on a field trip to a dentist's surgery. The purpose of the trip was to learn about different professions that help us in our daily lives, with a particular focus on dentists. The children were excited to explore the dentist surgery and learn about the role of a dentist in maintaining oral health.
During the trip, the children learned about the importance of a healthy diet and how it impacts their teeth. They also learned about the significance of oral hygiene and the proper way to clean their teeth. The children were shown different types of animal teeth and how they differ from human teeth. Furthermore, the children had the opportunity to dress up in role-play clothes and explore the purpose-built soft play area.

The highlight of the trip was when the children were shown how to use a mirror to examine their own teeth. They were all provided with an oral exam by a dentist, which helped them understand the importance of regular dental check-ups.

We are grateful for the parent volunteers who accompanied us on the trip to 'Orange Dentist for Kids'. Their presence made the trip more enjoyable and successful. The children were thrilled to share their experiences with their parents and show them what they had learned.
Overall, the trip was a great success. The children gained valuable knowledge about the role of dentists in maintaining oral health, the importance of a healthy diet, and proper oral hygiene practices. The trip was a great way to introduce young children to the importance of dental care and hygiene.
