Here at Wellington College Bilingual Tianjin Nursery, we believe that every child is unique and brings with them individual strengths and potential. By planning a curriculum that is holistic, with provision in an environment that supports every child to make progress, your child receives the best start to their education journey. We offer a fully immersive bilingual curriculum, where children learn as they would in England, through play and expert teaching. Our teachers support the bilingual development of your child through full time teaching by both an English-speaking expatriate teacher and a bilingual Chinese teacher. Your child will experience every aspect of the curriculum bilingually. We have excellent facilities for indoor and outdoor learning to help your child be a confident and competent learner across our exciting school.

Wellington College Bilingual Tianjin Nursery is dedicated to providing an exceptional learning space for every year group, ensuring that we are providing the highest quality learning environment for our children. In addition to providing immersive bilingual education for the children, we also put outdoor learning in a very important place. We make sure each year group can work together and make use of shared learning spaces to further help the children learn and grow. Here at the nursery, children have unlimited opportunities to engage, explore, interact with and learn about what is new, unknown and interesting to them in this world.

Learning is constantly developed through play-based activities, centred around a range of child-led projects or themes whereby pupils are invited to share what they already know and then, with the help of the adults around them, research the theme in greater depth.

At Wellington College Bilingual Tianjin Nursery, we have an outstanding team of teachers. They are all fully qualified and have experience teaching in their home countries and abroad. Most importantly, they care passionately about what they do and the responsibility they have in realising the potential of their pupils. Our teachers fully embrace the Wellington ethos and values, and this provides the basic framework for the team spirit that inspires all of them to realise the high expectations they have for all the pupils and for themselves. 

Almost 70% of the team have more than 10 years of experience. Six staff hold Master’s degrees, and two are working towards their Master's degree. 100% of the team hold a Bachelor's degree.  Several teachers also hold additional qualifications in counselling, SEND, Headship, art and design, International Montessori certification and five of our Chinese staff have the TEM-8.  With so much expertise and knowledge around child development and early education, we know we can offer the world-class teaching and learning you are seeking for your child.
