Wellington Community Unites Again!

10 Oct 2022

From the Master

Dr. Yang Yang

After a long wait, the pupils finally returned to the campus as scheduled. It was exciting and touching to see the campus come alive again. At the school gate, I met the Nest children who had arrived early at 7:30; what a wonderful sight it was to see the youngest in our school so keen to start the day. Outside the music classroom, I was captivated by the singing of the Junior School pupils and could not help but stop to appreciate it. In the hallway of the Senior School, I found pupils chatting with each other happily. All of this is what a school should be, filled with life, laughter and friendship.

I would like to thank the teachers and staff who worked very hard to ensure the smooth resumption of classes, as well as the parents for their great support. A good school can be summed up in one sentence, "A place where children aspire to belong to." We sincerely hope to see the pupils learn and grow in such an environment as we welcome them back to Wellington College Tianjin.
