Wellington College Bilingual Tianjin Nursery will hold its February on Campus Open Day! We sincerely invite you to join our Campus Open Day on Sunday, 20th February 2022, 1000hrs. At the Open Day, you will have a chance to know more about our ethos, bilingual curriculum, and our teaching approach to learning in the Nest. You will also have a chance to experience a real Wellington class and feel how special a Wellington education is. A school tour will be provided for you to explore our newly upgraded facilities.

Wellington College Bilingual Tianjin Nursery is dedicated to providing an exceptional learning space for every year group, ensuring that we are providing the highest quality learning environment for our children. In addition to providing immersive bilingual education for the children , we also put outdoor learning in a very important place. We make sure each year group can work together and make use of shared learning spaces to further help the children learn and grow. Before entering the campus, you will need to scan the location code. Your green code and temperature will be checked as well. If you have been out of Tianjin in the last 14 days, a 48 hours negative NAT testing report is also required.

Please wear a mask while you are on campus.

About Us

With the ever changing landscape of globalisation, Wellington College in Tianjin opened Wellington College Bilingual Nursery in August 2017. This early years' setting is specially designed to meet the needs of children between the ages of 2-6 years old and provides a quality Wellington education to both local and international families. The curriculum is designed to deliver, high quality education through child-initiated learning; while promoting recognised areas of learning and development, so that each and every child will be guided through their own, personalised learning journey.

Learning Journey

At Wellington College Bilingual Tianjin, we adopt the Learning and Development Guide published by the Ministry of Education of China, and aspects of learning for pupils is also informed and inspired by the Early Years Foundation Stage from the UK (EYFS). The educational experience at Wellington College Bilingual Tianjin is a play-based approach to learning where the outcomes and characteristics of eff ective learning are fostered.

The ways in which a child engages with other people and their environment – playing and exploring, active learning, creating and thinking critically – underpin learning and development across all areas which supports the child to remain an eff ective and motivated learner.
