A Wellington College International Tianjin workshop production Bertolt Brecht's The Caucasian Chalk Circle
How much do we own anything? The Caucasian Chalk Circle is at once a reworking of Li Qianfu and a challenge to its central theme. Here, Brecht's version is adapted and developed both by Bertolt Brecht himself, master of the Epic Theatre, and our own Wellington College pupils. Building on their workshop skills from Two last year, pupils return to take a bite of one of the greatest plays, by one of the greatest theatre practitioners of the 20th century. No pressure there then!Date: Wednesday 18th - Friday 20th, October 2017 Time: 1900hrs Location: Black Box
