Nest Christmas Show: It's a Baby!
07 Dec 2017
What an amazing performance from our youngest pupils at Wellington! This year's Nest Christmas show centered around the story of a weary innkeeper in this beloved nativity play. "It's a baby" takes place in the little town of Bethlehem where all sorts of amazing things happen. Development in the performing arts is an important learning area in the Early Years programme as it supports both their verbal and non-verbal social and literacy skills through singing, dancing, role playing and imagination. Pupils develop self-confidence as they muster up the courage to perform on stage. In the Nest, pupils are continually given opportunities to showcase their talents through assemblies and other school wide activities.
